2026 SOIL HEALTH IN THE WEST CONFERENCE
Registration for the 2026 Conference is now open!
The 3rd Biennial Soil Health in the West Conference will be held on February 10-12th, 2026 in St. George, Utah! The conference will be comprised of a day of workshops on February 10th, and the main conference on February 11-12th at the Dixie Convention Center.
The 2026 Conference is the place to learn about soil care & testing, soil health in crop production, and regenerative grazing management. In 2024, we focused on grazing management with supplementary tracks on crop production, and this year we are doing the reverse: we're hosting expert speakers on soil health-focused crop production, with a robust supplementary track for grazing topics.
The USHP is proud to announce that our keynote speakers in 2026 will be Jay Fuhrer and Rick Clark! Jay and Rick are both highly respected voices in the American soil health movement and have done exceptional work to develop regenerative practices and educate producers across the country.
The Beginner and Advanced Soil Health Workshop will each be 1 full day of sessions & exercises with a limited group and interaction with experts. Ticketing for each workshop is limited.
The Beginner Workshop will be led by keynote Jay Fuhrer (Menoken Research Farm), Utah soil health voice Tony Richards (Utah Agricultural Water Optimization Program), and specialists from UDAF and the NRCS. Attendees will learn the cornerstone principles of soil health, practice assessing fields and identifying common issues, and learn strategies for how to begin introducing soil health practices into their work.
The Advanced Workshop will be led by keynote Rick Clark (Farm Green), Dr. Patrick Freeze (Ward Laboratories), Ken Hamilton (Biomineral Technologies), and Dr. Brett Reed (Redox Bio-Nutrients). Participants will study in-depth how to use soil nutrient testing, factors in plant & soil nutrition, and how to use these tools to make management decisions and strategize on their land.
