NRCS
Hello! My name is Brian David I am the NRCS State Agronomist for Utah. I was born and raised in southeast Kansas and grew up on a family farm where I worked with my dad and uncle and gained a great deal of knowledge in Agriculture and life skills. The crops we grew on the farm consisted of corn, wheat, soybeans, grass, and red clover hay. The farm also included 120 head of (Black Angus/Herford mix) beef cows. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy from Kansas State University. I still own farmland in Kansas that my dad and uncle operate. I worked as a County Weed Supervisor for 2 years in Iola, Kansas before coming to Utah in 2000. I have been working for the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) for more than 20 years, as a Soil Conservationist in multiple field offices in Utah. My wife (Camile) and I have 3 kids: One son (Brenden) and two daughters (Danica & Maliya) and a golden doodle (Nellie) we live in Millville Utah where we help operate a small, irrigated farm that includes hay and livestock as well as a high tunnel for vegetable production.
When I’m not working, I enjoy being in the mountains, and my hobbies include riding mountain bikes, dirt bikes, and watching my daughter play volleyball, etc.
